SUMMARY:Member and Brickholder Quarterly Caravan
DESCRIPTION:What a time we had celebrating St. Patrick’s Day at the lighthouse in March\, so we decided to connect with a special occasion once again; this time our convoy will be on 6 July\, a late Independence Day celebration!  We hope to have patriotic music\, decorations\, and refreshments in addition to enjoying the peaceful surroundings of the lighthouse property. \nSO…..SAVE THE DATE:  6 JULY 2024 and celebrate Independence Day at the lighthouse (2 days late). RESERVE NO LATER THAN 26 June 2024.  These convoys are limited to 20 vehicles with as many occupants in your vehicle as legally permitted; no foreign nationals are allowed. \nWe will meet at the Space Florida/Space X/Sands Missile Museum parking lot between 3:00 – 3:30p.m. where vehicles will be lined up\, given a “day placard” to be placed on the vehicle dashboard\, and escorted through the US Space Force gate to the lighthouse NLT 3:45 p.m.   We will visit the lighthouse\, our cottage/museum & gift shop\, the Space Force’s Hangar C\, and return to our vehicles at 5:15 to line up and leave the Station by 5:30 p.m.  Please note:  You may take photos at the lighthouse and in Hangar C\, but are not permitted to photograph as we enter the gate or anywhere else on Space Force property as we proceed. \nAs always this is on a “First Reserved\, First Served” basis limited to 20 vehicles\, but no limit to the number of passengers who legally fit in the vehicle. It is very important to remember that when we convoy on Station we must stay together\, with badged escorts spaced between every 6th vehicle.  There will be no deviating from the convoy; we start and stop together. \nTo climb the tower up to the 5th level\, proper footwear must be worn (shoes that have a back or back-strap; no heels or flip-flops) and you must be at least 48” tall. \nTo reserve your space\, you must register by emailing cclf-membership@canaverallight.org no later than 26 June 2024 with the following information: \n\nDriver’s name \nDriver’s DOB\nDriver’s license number\nDriver’s license state of issue\nDriver’s license Expiration Date\nPhone #\nInfo on vehicle:\n\no   Year \no   Type \no   Model \no   Color \no   Plate number & state of issue \n\nNames of all passengers\nDL# AND state of issue for everyone 18 years & older\nDL Expiration Date for everyone 18 years & older\nDOB for all passengers\n\n Your reservation will be confirmed by return email. \nRemember:  First Reserved\, First served.  Reservations must be made NLT 26 June 2024. \nThank you for your help in keeping our light shining. \nChristine Ecker\, Membership Chair \ncclf-membership@canaverallight.org \n321.591.5593
